Diese Studie umfasste 60 Patienten (39 Männer, 21 Frauen) mit androgenetischer Alopezie; (Gruppe I): behandelt mit topischem Minoxidil-Gel 5%, (Gruppe II): mit topischem Spironolacton-Gel 1% und Gruppe (III) behandelt mit kombiniertem Minoxidil-Gel 5% und Spironolacton 1% Gel. Die Patienten wurden angewiesen, das Gel zweimal täglich aufzutragen. Die Kombination der beiden topischen Substanzen wurde als wirksamer bewertet.
